Before your first fill
Soak a new filter in tap water for two minutes. Fit it into the straw following the UP label, and set the timing ring.
Every day
Fill from a treated tap with cold or room-temperature water. Avoid hot liquids.
Cleaning
Hand wash the bottle, lid and spout in warm soapy water. Not dishwasher safe. Let every part dry before reassembling.
The filter
No washing needed. Take it out and let it air dry while you clean the bottle.
Replacing
Every two months, or around 100 litres. $32 for a 2-Pack, or $27 every four months on the Pure Plan.
